Being a Reiki Master Practitioner has given me the oportunity to interact with many souls. It feels great to be able to help others. Following the principles of Dr. Usui has made me a better person. It is easier for me to recognize when daily problems start affecting my energy or said in a different way, when problems or emotions tend to accumulate and form blocks in different chakras.
It has become easier for me to break those blocks by doing Reiki and meditation along with praying at least once a day, preferably twice a day or more often. Having an increase in faith on our creator is another of the noticeable things that have occurred.
Let me tell you about a magic experience I had with one of my clients. She came to me being referred by one of my wife's coworkers. I remember how she was limping on her left leg. It was difficult for her to go down a flight of stairs, but we finally got to my therapy room.
I asked her to lie down on my Reiki table. I turned on some soft music and lit some candles. We started doing Reiki and while doing this, there were several areas that seemed to be very charged with energy. My hands hurt so much that I almost gave up but after some time such pain decreased and went away. That Reiki session lasted close to one hour and a half.
At the end of the session she was deeply asleep. I attempted to wake her up and had to practically shake her shoulder. Ten minutes later she woke up and stated she felt like "floating." I could see her eyes giving me a look like she had been asleep for hours. We went over some explanation about her feelings and the areas where she felt heat and different sensations such as tingling or shocks.
One thing I noticed when she got off the table was that she was not limping. She walked up stairs with no problem and after I reminded her about the need to drink plenty of fluids she left.
Three days later I saw her and asked her how she was doing. Her answer was "Thanks so much, last three nights I have been sleeping as I haven't in years, my
pain went away." This is one of the reasons I continue learning about Reiki and other complementary therapies, esspecially when I have read of all the side effects caused by conventional medicine.
