Positive is always is stronger than the negative. The positive thought then goes out into the universe and overrides the negative, essentially erasing it, and this can create change in your consciousness and makes us aware of the habit of negative thought and emotions and can re-train us to diminish the habit. This is a simple but effective two-step healing exercise you can do as you begin to monitor your thoughts.

Monitoring Your Thoughts Exercise

  1. When a negative thought, memory, or emotion comes into your awareness immediately recognize it and say out loud or to yourself "Cancel and delete."

  2. Next, bring to your awareness a positive thought, memory or feeling. For example you could see yourself doing something you love to do.
