Question: Will Getting A New Pet Help My Grief?
Full Question: My 11 year old baby, a cockapoo, died during his last seizure in January. Will getting a new pet help my grief or will I be unfair to the new animal?

Answer: Dear Judith,
It depends on why you want to get a new animal. If you want one to give it a home and because you love them, then certainly, get another. If you want to get a new pet just to replace the one you had, then no, that would be unfair and you probably want to grieve for your cockapoo before getting a new pet.
