Holiday Gift Idea Count Down - Dec. 16 - Today's gift pick is this Carved Om Stone (buy direct). I have added it to my list of meditation tools which includes assorted meditation cushions and pillows that would also make wonderful gifts for the meditator. I'm thinking of using this stone as a do-not-disturb sign. When I do my meditation I shut the door for privacy. But, I also shut the door sometimes when I'm reading or writing. My husband, knowing not to disturb me, will sometimes tap gently on the door to see if I'm in there. If I set the stone outside the door whenever I'm meditating, perhaps it would signal him "Yes, I'm in here, please don't knock or enter."
