Sadly, a third life has ended due to medical complications following the tragic sweat lodge ceremony held on October 8. A forty-nine year old woman, Liz Neuman, suffered from multiple organ damage and was in a coma prior to her death on Sunday. Neuman's family has contacted a lawyer and a lawsuit is in the works. Louis Diesel, an attorney for the family, said appropriate measures were not taken to prevent Neuman's death. Kirby Brown, 38, of Westtown, N.Y., and James Shore, 40, of Milwaukee, died previously. Both Brown and Shore were announced dead upon arrival at the hospital on October 8, the same day of the sweat ceremony. All others who were sickened during this event were treated and released from the hospital.
