Free Advice from Animal Communicator, Madeleine Walker

Dear Madeleine,
Do chipmunks make good pets?
Ciara

Hi Ciara,
I feel chipmunks can make very good pets, but it is important to have one that has been well handled or quietly reared. They might not like being a solitary animal so it would be important to think about having a friend for it. They also need quite large secure space so it is quite a financial commitment. It would be a good idea to talk to a local vet to get more information regarding their care and then you can decide whether you are able to commit to the financial responsibilities and time commitment. Maybe get some books from the library as well so you can read up on everything. Hope this helps.

Best wishes,
