Stevia Allows Desserts as Meals

Chocolate Pudding: 1pckg silk tofu in blender with 1tbsp - 1/3 cup coconut water, faux milk, or water(depends on your blender's mixing strength liquid just helps it blend). Once liquified add as much Stevia & quality cocoa powder to taste & voila, rich pudding that is actually just a protein meal. Adjust slightly & have other "pudding" flavors: vanilla, lemon, pistachio, cherry...

Sugar to Stevia Substituting Portions

I would like recipes that use stevia. I use it for baking and use 1 tbsp. in place of a cup of sugar, but don't know if this is the right balance. Taste is good.

My recipe for squash using stevia

Bake a squash, cut in half for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Peel, cut into chunks and place in blender with 2 cups 2 % milk. Add 4 packets of stevia. Blend 2 minutes. Pour into ice cream goblets, refrigerate 1 hour. Like eating a desert without the calories. 1 teaspoon of Cool Whip on top.

Grow My Own Stevia

I have grown stevia in my garden in zone # 6 SW Ontario, Canada with great success ( a local green house sells them for $2 per plant ). In the fall I hang my plants to dry and then we bag them up. It usually takes about 7 large leaves immersed in a tea bob to sweeten tea or coffee to my liking. I have also tried the drops and found I needed about 6 or 7, 2 would never satisfy me.
