- I wore my old iolite today for the first time in years. The difference in my day was so incredible, I had to look up its properties. If you have suffered tremendous unnecessary negativity, grief, and abuse from people over the years, try wearing iolite of the color recommended above. To choose the right color, consider the type of past relationship(s) you can feel the most *hurt*. It was amazing to see the shift today. Those who keep taking from me on a daily basis, began to keep their distance - and those who have the easy ability and expertise to assist me when I really need it, step up to the plate more - the way things should be. It's easier to read hearts. But those who are truly cold remain cold if that is their intent toward you. Now you know ... Blueish-Lavender Opens Up Intuition
- Blueish-Lavender iolite helps to open the pathway for the spiritual. It connects the throat, brow and crown chakras. It opens a subtle and gentle gateway of communication to the Higher Self. It may be detected differently than you would expect. By this I mean, it may manifest as sudden "bursts" of intuition and you may have a higher awareness for guidance or purpose. A good stone for helping one find direction in life. Shamans would use this stone to ensure accuracy with visions and in healing ceremonies to influence the spirits. Iolite also helps you to release the discord from your life. It is a good healing stone. The most common colors range from a clear to a blueish-lavender. But that is not the only color of the Iolite. Iolite also comes in brown, green, yellow and grey.
