What My Birthmark Looks Like
I have an light oval shaped birthmark near the bridge of my nose, closer to my eyebrow. I learned that the light/tan birthmarks are called “Cafe au lait spots.”
How I Feel About My Birthmark
My youngest daughter has an identical birthmark as my sister (same shape, same place on the back of their leg). She also has an inverted/symmetrical one on her back. It is beautifully unique. It is the same thing on the left shoulder blade, but transposed as a white birthmark on the right shoulder blade.
My oldest daughter, mother and myself have the same mole on our left arm, two inches from the wrist.
Lessons Learned
- I read that birthmarks are a place where energy can focus in development, explaining the additional pigmentation in one particular area, and these areas are areas where we have strength. Something like that.
