What My Bad Habit Was
My bad habit was eating too much chocolate and other sweets and it was ruining my health.
How I Managed to Break It
I got rid of the cravings by switching to a 90 to 95% raw diet. By eating raw I can choose from lots of delicious satisfying foods that have no processed sugar. I've lost 40 pounds and continue to lose. Losing weight is motivation enough to keep me going on raw foods. I am so excited about the changes in my physical and mental health that I am planning to become certified as a raw food nutrition counselor so I can be better equipped to help others.
Advice
- Start out slow. Add raw foods to your diet gradually and don't be afraid to experiment.
- You can't imagine how good a raw sweet potato tastes with cinnamon and a little organic raw agave. Just run it through a blender and you have an instant filling dish full of nutrition.
- There are many other things that you can do that are just as easy and satisfying.
