About My Animal Companion
My cat Kissy (now passed) transmitted a great deal of love energy to me. She was a fabulous nurse cat and I will always love her.
My Healing Story
When I was ill with the flu and just beginning to recuperate I jokingly said out loud to Kissy "I take loving care of you every day, and there is only one job I want you to do in return. Your job is to comfort me when I am sick." I was only joking, and didn't think she could possibly understand what I was saying, but she did. For the rest of her life, any time that I was ill, she would stay beside me and purr, beaming love at me. If I had to toss and turn all night long from a fever, she would just patiently get up and move so that I could turn, and then lie down right next to me where I could stroke her.
Lessons Learned
- Our pets understand more that we give them credit for.
