 The Major Arcana consists of 22 cards:

Minor Arcana Cards

A traditional deck of Tarot consists of 78 cards (22 Major Arcana, and 56 Minor Arcana including the court cards (Kings Queens, Knights, and Pages). In this specialized deck there are only 36 Minor Arcana (nine cards per suit, with no court cards). With the court cards eliminated, we find that readings done with this deck are much more focused on SELF. Whenever a court card is drawn in a Tarot reading the querent is being shown possible influences of some person in his life... be it family, friend, work associate, or neighbor.

 However, seven additional cards have been added. These cards depict the seven major chakras. John Holland explains that whenever a chakra card is drawn it serves as a reminder to pay attention to the particular chakra (energy-center) of your body. Find out the purpose or function of the chakra and check in with your body to see if your energy is balanced appropriately.

Yearly Forecast

The Guidebook gives examples of four different cards spreads you can use when working with your cards. But, you don't have to limit yourself to only the suggested layouts. 

The suggested spreads are:

2 - Three-Card Spread (past, present, future).
3 - Five-Card Spread (more in-depth look at past and future influences).
