Unconditional Loving Father
Father of Three

By , About.com Guide

I am so grateful to be able to share my dad's love with everyone.
Cindy Watanabe
I recently lost my father and at his funeral, we were asked to make a statement or write something down about him. Well, I am very emotional so I had to write it down. When it came time to write, it all came easily and I'll share the same sentiments here.
My father was a very special man. When our parents split, my dad took care of the 3 of us kids. It wasn't easy on him having a son and two daughters. But he made it seem that way. There were many times that Children's Services wanted to take us away but they had no good reason for it so we stayed. They didn't think he was able to care for us like a mother could. He gave up all his happiness and everything he wanted in life to make sure we had a good life. He made so many sacrafices for us and never once complained about it. And no matter what problems we got into, or trouble we caused, he was always there, unconditionally for us. It hurts my heart so much that I wasn't able to give back even a fraction of what he gave me. And I know if he had to do it all over again, he would have. I am so grateful to be able to share my dad's love with everyone. I am grateful for this chance for everyone to know how much he meant to me.
