Recently launched Tribute to Nurturing Dads Photo Gallery is a showplace of photographs of fathers with their child/children. This gallery was inspired from my article Ten Lessons I Learned From My Father.
Sons and Daughters: Did your father play a significant role in your life that helped you beome a well-grounded person or influenced your positive outlook on life?
Wives and Co-Parents: Is the father of your child doing an exceptional job in parenting? What makes his nurturing ways so special?
I'd like to read your stories. In his honor, share a brief testimonial statement along with a treasured photo of your father, husband, or co-parent you'd like to see included in the gallery.
P.S. I also hope to create a Mommy Gallery after I get the Daddy Gallery in place so please use these same guidelines to send me your mother photos.
Photo Guidelines
- Photos must portray a father (or mother) with a child or children.
- Please send JPG pictures that are no larger than 400 X 400 pixels. Try to use the best compression.
- Make sure that you own the copyright to the pictures that you will submit. If you don't own the copyright, you must seek permission from the copyright holder before submitting the photo.
- If other people appear in your photos, please make sure that you have their permission to have their image published publically before you submit the photos.
- Do not send more than three (3) photo attachments per email.
- Do not submit your photos in a .zip file.
a. Open your email program and send an email to healing.guide@about.com To avoid losing your submissions, please try to use this as your subject line: Daddy (or Mommy) Photo Submission.
b. Copy and paste all of the text between the lines below into the body of your new email. We have to be assured that the material you're submitting is your own, so if any text is missing we will not be able to use your photo.
c. Finally, add the appropriate information to the text within that email window, attach the photo/s as a file attachment to that email and send it in.

I cannot promise to use every photo submitted and reserve the right to use only submissions that are deemed appropriate from a subject or quality point of view. I'll send you an email notification when your photo is published in the gallery. Unfortunately, due to the amount of email received, I am unable to reply to inquiries concerning unpublished photos.
