Past Life Memory - Native American Woman

As a very young child I always fantasized about being an Indian child.

The following morning after having the second session of energy work (a continuation of the first session) done to open my chakras I had a very profound vision. I'm not quite sure where to start so I'm going to start off with something that occurred about 6 weeks prior to my having the energy work.

In mid February I had a very profound dream in which I received the knowledge that my spirit guide is the Wolf. It went like this; I was lying in my bed asleep when I awakened and looked to the right of my bed. There to my right was a mass of energy that was somewhat in the shape of a human. It was sort of translucent and moving throughout, as it was energy. My first thought was, "should I be afraid?" but within an instant I knew that there was no need to be afraid and the fear immediately vanished. As I gazed at the energy, it began to move and change until it transformed before my eyes into a Wolf. I had the distinct impression that it was male and I instantly knew that he was/is here to protect, to guide and to watch over me. I then saw glimpses of him sleeping next to me and just overall glimpses of him "with me" I understood without any doubt in my mind, what this dream meant. It was so profound!

Now for the other vision. This one occurred on the following day after having energy work done and I was not sleeping, but in a somewhat meditative state. I initially went to this particular doctor to see if she could free up the tightness that hasn't left my spine in 5 or 6 years. She is a Chiropractor and Holistic Practicioner among other things. She told me that my body indicated to her that I need energy work because my energy level was very low. During the energy work the pain in my back became very intense. It was like the intense back labor pains I had during my labor with both of my children. I shared the labor pain story with the Dr and during the course of my visit she made reference to that several times. Now every morning since my visit with her the pain returns and lasts 20 or 30 minutes. During my session with her she told me that it was resentment that I had been holding in and need to let go of. Anyway, I have this cycle of pain every morning now. It's almost unbearable, but for some reason I don't really mind. I figure it's just part of my healing process.

Now for the interesting part. In my vision I am looking downward from a front facing angle at myself. I am a young American Indian woman. I am standing in a beautiful spot that overlooks a small lake (it is, in fact within walking distance of where I grew up). Interestingly, there is a 2000+ year old Hopewell burial mound there near where I was standing which was found to contain 11 people when it was exumed in 1932. The next impression I received was that I had died during childbirth. After that I am made aware that my mate was inconsolible and lastly that he never chose another mate. At that point I was overtaken with sadness and grief and I began to sob uncontrollably. This lasted for 3 to 5 minutes, I believe. It was extremely gutteral and deep and just poured out of me without control. I felt that my Spirit Guide is connected to him as in "Lone Wolf". Also, I would like to add that as a very young child I always fantasized about being an Indian child. There were also dreams of flying or trying to fly. As I got older I found out that we do have Indian blood in our family. It is something that is born into you and you know it without really knowing. I don't really know how else to explain this. Also, other people have asked me if I have American Indian in me and I can sense the same in them, so when they ask me, I'm never surprised at the question. Interesting, isn't it?
