I left this experience feeling that the older man was my ex husband

I was in England in the 1580's. I was a housekeeper for a middle class gentleman. I did not get the impression from the house I kept that he was extremely wealthy. I was fairly young, with very red hair. I fell in love with this man and he treated me very tenderly. He bought me a fancy dress and took me to an important building, perhaps an opera house or something. We took long walks and relaxed in fancy gardens. I got pregnant with this man's child. Just after the baby was born, he was arrested and taken away for stealing money from his boss. My daughter and I never saw him again. When my daughter was older, perhaps 5-6 years later, I married a much older man. I did not love him but I respected him and was grateful to him because he loved me and my daughter and provided for us generously. I left this experience feeling that the older man was my ex husband. At the time of that recollection I thought I knew who the gentleman I fell in love with was but I am not completely sure that it was him.
