Romaine Salad with Apple and Pecans

This is not your typical apple salad, no mayonaise or heavy creams. This delightful salad variation can be tossed together in a few quick seconds.

Prep Time: 1 minute

Total Time: 1 minute

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup cubed baby swiss cheese
  • 1/2 Granny Smith apple (cut into bite-sized cubes)
  • 1/4 cup whole pecan nuts

Preparation:

Toss the above ingredients. Drizzle with a light or low-caloric dressing of your choice before serving.
