Neurobics involve using your senses (sight, touch, smell, listening, taste) differently than you normally would. Neurobic exercises activate brain cell activity. Change is good, healthy for your brain! Examples of neurobic activities include:
  • Taking a different route on your way to work.
  • Combing your hair with your non-dominant hand.
  • Trying a new food you've never tasted before.
  • Listening to a different music genre.
  • Trading chores with another member of your household.
  • Maneuvering from one room to another room in your home with your eyes closed.
  • Rearranging your kitchen cupboards, forcing you to break old habits of always reaching for certain dishes or utensils in one place.
