Question: How can I help boost my Collie's confidence?
Hi, I have an 18 month old collie pup who is usually very confident and full on, but at agility training he gets really nervous and will not 'work.' He loves the training at home. I even take my other dog in but that does not seem to help. Could you tell me how I can help his confidence and help him enjoy himself? Many thanks, Margaret
Answer:
Hi Margaret,

Perhaps you could try some homeopathic remedy Aconite 30 for your pup. I work closely alongside homeopathic vets and consult them on remedies as we discuss cases. You could try one tablet the night before a training session and one in the morning. This is not a sedative but just takes the edge off anxiety and through experiencing fun and not feeling pressured in a group situation, the pup's confidence will grow. Hope this helps!
