I adopted Pupa about 18 months ago. Unfortunately, she was separated from her sister. She has to spend a lot of time alone in my apartment while I am at work. Do you think she is happy? Should I get her another cat for company? My apartment is small and I am afraid another cat would upset her.

She seems very contented to me, quite self contained and I'm sure you give her so much love when you do spend time together. She might accept a kitten but if your apartment is small they might not have the space to have 'timeout' if they need to! Perhaps see if a cat suddenly appears or is offered to you. I believe that animals find us, so if you're meant to have another one it will present itself!
