Question: Will my cat return to me?
Dear Madeleine,

I respected my Kali's wishes and let her go to sleep today. She was very ill with heart disease. I am saddened beyond belief but also feel a sense of peace that she is no longer suffering. Will she return to me again? Will she be able to make herself known to me in physical or spirit form? Is she ok?

Ellie

Answer:

Oh Ellie I know just how hard it is to lose a beloved animal friend and she just looks all heart, just a complete heart healing energy. It is interesting that she had heart problems as I feel she took on a lot of pain from others. This was her role that she chose and she will come back as there is more work that you have to do together. I'm being shown a silver tabby or grey cat but I feel there are stripes. This will be a continuation of her energy coming back to do more healing work with you and to help you with your healing abilities.

Roles Animals Play in Our Spiritual Connections

The connection between us and our animals is so deep and their role is so important in helping us reach our potentials and becoming more self aware. They are our teachers and helpers. Animals have a deeper understanding of nature and the energies of the earth and they help us get back on track. When there is a very deep loving relationship, I believe that animals commit to coming back to us. Sometimes they will return in a different guise in order to continue that loving relationship. I believe we journey through time with a soul family which includes people and animals. I find it very comforting to feel that we will all meet again one day, when suffering the pain of loss.

Feedback from Ellie: Bless you Madeleine for taking the time to answer my question and, yes yes yes, everything you have said makes perfect sense. Kali was and is about love. I'm believing she came in to my life to teach me how to love myself in order for me to share that love with others. Thank you.
