Everyone makes mistakes or regrets past decisions. However, it is not helpful to continually focus on feelings of sadness or guilt over past actions. It isn't good to deny your feelings by trying to pretend regretful scenarios never happened either. Keeping negative actions hidden can overshadow our spirits with shame or depression. Exposing our frailties and recognizing that we are not perfect frees us from feeling stupid or "less than." Bring to light those things that you are not proud of. Honor these experiences as life lessons learned, you've likely become a better person for them.

Stop playing the blame game wallowing in regret or shame, forgive yourself, and move on. You can live your life free from regrets. We all deserve to live with joy regardless of our imperfections.
