All you need to make yourself a tasty and tummy comforting cup of tea are two ingredients: ginger root and water.
- Cut 2-4 thin slices of ginger from the root and place inside an empty cup. (# of slices you use will depend on the size of your teacup and your taste preference, strong VS weak flavor)
- Pour boiling water into the cup.
- Allow your ginger tea to steep for a couple of minutes and cool to a drinkable temperature.

Although, if you are picky about your herbs floating in your tea, you can slip the slices of ginger into a small tea strainer. Some people also prefer to peel the skin off the ginger. But, if you're like me and are not fussy, take the simple route. When your tummy is upset you will appreciate not having to take any extra steps to get relief. Add lemon or honey if you like!
