Wellness Magazine Wish List

Magazines focused on natural health, spirituality, and holistic living

By , About.com Guide

Holistic Shopping: I have subscriptions to a half a dozen wellness magazines. Others are on my "wish list." The problem is if I get my wish and start getting a couple of the new mags I'll have to consider canceling the subscription to an old favorite. Only so much time to read magazines is my dilemma. Hmmm... my true wish is that I have more time to read them all!! Now, that would be the coolest. I hope you find a magazine or two here that interests you. Subscriptions to magazines that are focused on fitness and well-being are a great gift idea for anyone, including yourself.

Angels on Earth magazine is filled with inspirational stories about angels, miracles, faith, and more. Published bi-monthly.

Mother Earth News Magazine

Mother Earth News is the ultimate in living a green life style. I remember this magazine from the seventies before its cover went "slick and shiny" like all the other magazine. I loved that natural look. It is still filled with ways to save energy, garden naturally, and down-to-earth common sense advice for living your life.

Native Peoples Magazine

Native Peoples is for anyone who is a Native American or has an interest in Native American Culture. For me, that is actually both. My family tree shows that I have teeny tiny drop of Indian blood in me. Filled with North and South Native American history and culture, current events, recipes, and more. Published bi-monthly.

The Mountain Astrologer

I highly recommend The Mountain Astrologer for astrology students and advanced astrologers both. I regret letting my subscription to this magazine lapse a few years ago. It is definitely on my wish list for this year as I will be entering another Saturn's Return cycle. Filled with tons of in-depth insights into planetary movements and possible affects on our daily lives.
