There is no such thing as multitasking. You cannot give more than 100 percent of yourself at any one time. When you think you are multitasking you are actually fragmenting your mind focus. Multitasking robs us of mindfulness, and detracts us from the natural act of "being." Multitasking can be dangerous (texting while driving), rude (talking on the phone with a friend while having lunch with your mom), and definitely distracting (watching television while reading your email).
