Green Burials

The ultimate in recycling, green burials are a natural alternative to traditional burials or cremations. No embalming, no enclosures in air-tight vaults, and no cremation. If a casket is used in a green burial it is made from biodegradable materials. The body is returned to the earth and allowed to become a part of nature and the environment. Although there are a limited number of green cemeteries they are worth looking into when choosing your body's final resting place and also wanting to make a statement about loving the planet.
