Question: Do other people's negative energy effect our healing process?

My Mother, who was in her eighties at the time and suffering from mental problems, prayed for me to die. I had been sick for quite some time even then but soon after this encounter was told I needed a heart transplant. I consider myself sensible but often wonder if the trauma causes me not to direct my self-healing energies as effectively as I once did. Do other people's negative energy effect our healing process?

Yes other people's energy does effect our healing process. Many times the people closest to us will have the greatest effect upon our healing process. In your Mother's case her praying for your death, was coming from her place of feeling complete powerlessness over her state of mind. She was projecting that wish of ending (dying) upon you. You did take much of that feeling inside you, and do carry some of it to this day. I would recommend some energy work such as Reiki or other energy healing practice.
