Greetings from AtlantisHealer:
My name is Stephanie Gainer. I have been spiritual all of my life. I sensed things spiritually at a very young age. In 1997 I learned Usui Reiki 1. A year later I went on to Reiki 2. My personal goal is in 2008 I will go on to the Master level of Reiki.

My Heritage:
I am Native American Cherokee and I am told that a branch of my family is Blackfoot. I am also English, Irish, German, Scottish, and a little Dutch. I jokingly say that I am a perfect Heinz 57 of bloodlines.

I have studied several religions. I am without a doubt Methodist Christian who happens to be much more spiritual than religious. I attend Centre Street United Methodist Church on a regular basis.

I have studied Lakota spiritual practices from a man who studied directly under Sun Bear and Grandfather Wallace. I have a deep respect for the Earth and I am a passionate environmentalist. I feel that for me that the Earth and all of it's creation is a living breathing lesson from Creator if we are willing to pay attention to those lessons. I have studied tarot cards, numerology, and I do some dream interpretation. I usually go with my gut feelings (those little whispers within) as in the end those messages have been more accurate and rarely wrong.

After years and years of working Reiki I learned that I am an empath. I also at times am a Medical Intuitive. These things are not completely under my control and the abilities seem to turn themselves on and off at odd times and moments. LOL. I am a bit of a jokester and clown. Laughter is a very powerful medicine. I look at medicine in very different ways.

While I could never ever say that Western Medical Science does not have a place or a value I am personally much more inclined to use food, vitamins, herbs, meditations, and reiki. For me while I have had teachers to classically train me; it's more like rock and roll ..... if it works and it helps to increase health, love, compassion ..... well that is what I am about.

I also do some past life memory recall (I remember being a healer in Atlantis); creating scared space like blessing a home or clearing energy in a place; I work with stones and crystals. My journey has thus far been an evolving path and if I can help anyone to find peace and wisdom through sharing my stories or reiki or prayers......then I have full filled part of my purpose. To give something positive back that hopefully will help to grow something even more positive through the next seven generations.
