Brian Maidgan's healing practice is primarily focused toward assisting people in dealing with their work stresses. He also offers support to anyone suffering from any number of physical, emotional, mental or spiritual challenges. His clients who have experienced stress at work have reported improvements in a variety of ways including being more relaxed, sleeping better, better relationships, expressing their needs more clearly and consistently, and finding more peace and joy in their lives.

Brian's personal journey as a healer began in 1993 when he started to explore Hawaiian energy work in Hawaii. He discovered that he had a natural ability to work with healing energy. Healing work brought him a sense of tranquility and satisfaction from the very start. This new journey led him to many wonderful experiences.

Visits to the Hawaiian volcano brought him in touch with the fiery energy of transformation while experiences with the ocean allowed him to understand the peaceful nurturing energy of water. The healing energy of the islands enchanted him. The astounding simplicity and power of the Hawaiian Energy Healing system to restore emotional balance excited him. His passion for assisting others to heal and grow was born

He was driven to expand his understanding of healing energy and how it impacts human wellness so in 1996, completed a 240 hour program in Zen Shiatsu. That knowledge expanded and deepened his understanding of the human energy system from the perspective of the meridian system used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This knowledge of chi (energy) and its passage through the human body allows him to work in a deeper way with energy allowing for more profound benefits in the restoration of health and illness prevention.

Brian later received Reiki training and certification to the Master level in the Seichem system. He was immediately impressed with the simplicity and effectiveness of Reiki treatments. Reiki’s gentle approach uses light hand pressure allowing the client’s body to receive only the energy it requires. The body mind and spirit of the client are empowered to heal themselves while he guides them through the healing process.

The gentleness, safety and effectiveness of Reiki and Hawaiian Energy Work have made them the cornerstones of his healing practice.
