Question: Why Do Dogs Chew And Destroy Your House?

What does it mean when your dog (Japanese Akita) constantly chews on and destroys your house and marks his territory in the house with urine and feces when he is left alone?

That sounds to me like a classic case of separation anxiety. There are ways to work around this, such as desensitization training, or crate training.
