Question: What is my Life Purpose?
Full Question: I want to know what my purpose is in life. I’m not sure what I love the most. There is no passion behind anything I do. Everything I do is because I feel like I have to, not because I’m passionate about it.

Start by finding purpose in small tasks that you perform each day. Brushing your teeth has purpose, treating your body in a healthy way has purpose and so does quieting yourself to listen to your inner voice. Purpose is unique to your soul.
I have worked with people whose purpose at a soul level is to heal an emotional pattern that has been carried forward in to this life from a previous life experience. Purpose and career and passion may all be different things. If your soul purpose is to heal, or to heal others by your mere presence in their life, then that purpose will not translate into a career. Some people are artists or musicians, who know deep within themselves that this is what they are meant to do in this existence.
I know that you have not felt that particular passion or deep knowing within yourself. However, if you quiet your mind and listen deeply to your inner voice, you will discover the answer. What is it that you are really good at? Do you have an inherent gift or trait that others notice in you, yet you have not been able to translate it into a career path? Have you ever experienced passion? Do you know the feeling?
Those whose soul purpose is to heal their self at a deep level may not feel passion for the task. They simply have an inherent drive to uncover their emotional past and bring about a healing. Purpose and passion are not always the same.
Once you have sat and listened, bring your focus to your heart space. What feeling is there? Ask your heart if it would like to feel passion and what does it require in order for that to happen? Then practice simple allowance by bringing attention to your heart each day and allowing it its full expression of feeling passion and joy. You may be surprised at how much you have kept under wraps by suppressing your feelings. It is okay to feel excitement, passion and drive. It is okay to feel good. Bypass your conscious mind and simply allowing the feelings to flow.
Many Blessings,
Jaelin
