What is Wordless Wednesday?
Wordless Wednesday (WW) is a visual blogosphere phenomenon. Whereas blogs (web journals) are primarily about "words" bloggers love to dress their journal entries with imagery. WW is a simple blog post featuring a photo which conveys a message that speaks for itself without using words. However, there are no specific rules about WW posts so a few (and sometimes, many) words may accompany a photo or image that is the focus of a WW blog entry.Wordless Wednesday www.wordlesswednesday even has its own blog! I learned about WW in April 2008 and became an immediate fan (and participant). I am very visual and appreciate photos that invoke emotion, controversy, or conversation. My first 46 WW images are featured in a Wordless Wednesday Photo Gallery. I'm no longer keeping the gallery up-to-date, but in a similar vein I continue to feature a Healing Photo of the Week in my blog.
