Dragon energy, in my experience, is very straightforward energy. It is honest and it does not beat around the bush. It is strong but is not dark or devious. They can manifest in the air realm or the water realm, and because they are also sometimes associated with fire they are strong allies in transmutation of energy. Finally, I would like to say that one's relationship with dragon energy is intuitive and personal and when this energy enters your life it is a wonderful opportunity to explore your inner world. - Amethysthummingbird
Dragonflies are enduring creatures having lived on earth for over 200 million years, predating the dinosaurs and surviving long after their extinction. This kind of longevity demonstrates the dragonflies environmental adaptivity. Dragonflies also have voracious appetites, consuming up to 300 mosquitoes and other flying insects a day. Adept fliers, no other animal has the flight maneuverability of the dragonfly. They are experts at what they do and they do it relentlessly. As an animal totem, some Native American people believe that dragonflies are messengers, carrying thoughts to other people far away. - Evolving Light
Turkey is quite a bit like buffalo. very sacred. It is one that gives unconditionally. If you follow a wild turkey and watch you will find other foods to eat. The feathers have been used to make caps for ceremony as well as to keep rain off. Almost every part of the turkey can be used for one thing or another and of course the bird is also a food source. To the Cherokee the turkey was as sacred as the eagle if not more so. They teach adaptivity for that is what has helped them survive the destruction of their forest. They are nest sharers with several hens keeping eggs in same nest and tending to them. This insures a greater survival for all the chicks. it teaches strength through being in the flock and allowing others to assist you in not only finding food but raising your young and being a part of the whole. - whorsew
