He's Gone Now

Daughter's Memorial Poem
He's gone now, what more can I say
He was here then but he's gone today
The greatest inspiration to me, his love will last
But he's gone now, he's passed.

His love was forever, he'll always care
But he's gone now, his room is bare
He taught me so much, his lessons remain
But he's gone now and what's left is too much pain.

I'm angry inside, my heart is mush
Why did he leave me, in such a big rush
Did he want to go, did he want to stay
I can't figure out why it ended this way.

He's gone now, there's more I can say
But he's no longer here, and it still hurts today
His inspiration remains, his love intact
And no matter how hard I wish it, I can't bring him back.

To my dad with all my love
