For, without this healing, we continue to go forwards as adults....wounded, scared, and stuck. we are stuck in those painful memories ....the most painful time of our lives. and the most fascinating part of this healing process is......IT DOESN'T HURT.. the hurt is already there.

BUT SO IS THE HEALING. (and yes I am yelling that)

We go thru patterns.....of abandonment........of hurt.....mistrust. and life has that way of returning these patterns over and over again. but this is just a reminder to us that the wounds have not healed. Some of us are terrified of this process...........we become use to the pain....no matter how old or new the wound is makes us feel more vulnerable that what we actually are.

but it is thru that stubborness that I also found healing . I took that three year old.............that 6 year old..........that 12 year old.....inside of me still waiting to grow up and actually told them: I am now going to protect you..........I am going to unconditionally love you. ............noone else had taken that responsibility! and the same with you guys! if they had...I'd like for them to stand up and be applauded! But it was when I realized those internal children needed to be healed first. and the same goes thru our adult life

The adult life also brings us.....pain............we also will bring with us those wounds into our relationships with others..............how unfair to us and to them!

I was reminded by someone .....in her pain...... how quickly a 20 year old relationship can be gone overnight. We all have to change..........and sometimes.........this change takes us apart ......thus reminding us of our inner child..............abandonment, etc. or whatever issues we have facing us. and.........for the hardest pain......is the loss of a loved one
