| caroltuttle | I am a master rapid eye therapist, reiki master/teacher, author and spritual teacher. I have worked in the area of energy healing, specifically energy psychology for the last 6 years. I have come from trying to get well in the world of traditional therapy with few results and only really got well once I started alternative processes. | caroltuttle | Here is a basic explanation of RET: |
| caroltuttle | Rapid Eye Technology is a powerful transformational technology which facilitates healing on all levels; clearing the patterns and emotions that block us from living our potential. RET clears the mental programming and core beliefs that limit who you are and who you can become. |
| caroltuttle | the basis of RET is that we clear energy overloads during our sleep process when we are in REM In that state we are clearing what causes us to feel bad and get sick. When a Client comes to see me they are coming in to clear specific issues |

| nightowl | Can RET also explain short-sightedness? |
| caroltuttle | I use an eye directing device, it really looks like an 18" wand, and move it very quickly in front of the clients eyes as they are blinking |
| lila | does it have a light? this devise? |
| caroltuttle | This engages the REM state while they are still awake and we are able to clear deeply held energy that is keeping them stuck in negative patterns |

| crazymtqt | I listen to a pain control tape, and even when not listening to it but practicing it for pain control I feel the sensation of rapid eye movement, I wonder if this is what helps to make this method work? |

| caroltuttle | no light just a little ball with the 3 primary colors to get the eyes attention |

| caroltuttle | We are really lifting energy that is stuck in a lower vibrational state to start vibrating at a higher frequency |
| caroltuttle | I am not sure of your question nightowl? |
| lila | carol - once the stuck energy vibrates higher freq... what happens to it? |
| nightowl | I'm short-sighted. I wonder if I would be able to see the wand without my glasses. |
| caroltuttle | In RET we believe the movement of the eye directing device is is picked up visually by the client and a message is sent to the brain that REM sleep is occuring |
| caroltuttle | nightowl, Your eye would know what to do no matter your visual capacity |

| caroltuttle | this process is enhanced by verbal cues from the therapist to relases any physical, emotional or mental stress |
| whorsew | carol, when this energy is released what happens to it |
| caroltuttle | As I am moving the wand my client is blinking, they move into a deeper brainwave state, alpha, theta, which is REM and I start telling the mind body what to clear |
| nirtanna | Could you do this on yourself at any time ? |

| caroltuttle | it is lifted to a higher vibration so the person literally holds more light |
| caroltuttle | there are more than 1500 people trained all over the world in this process |

| caroltuttle | An american woman developed it, and there are people from various countries that have been trained in it |

| lila | carol... I think what some of us are wondering is if negative energies are being released - where does that energy go? Does it recycle into positive energy? |
| caroltuttle | Ranae says it is an ancient healing model that is now with us again |

| caroltuttle | When you lift the negative energy the mind body system remembers wholeness and begins to heal |
| caroltuttle | Much of the RET process is blended with guided imagery of finding and clearing the inner child |
| Rainbow7 | do you make your wand or does someone special make them |
| caroltuttle | the Rapid Eye Institute makes them and supplies them |
| lila | ok carol... but the confusion I'm having is - okay the neg energy is no longer negative after it vibrates to a higher frequency - it has been altered to a lighter energy? Is that what you are saying? |

| caroltuttle | lila, Yes that would be a good way to put it. We lift the energy so it is now a light energy. In that higher vibration we experience wellness, happiness and profound joy |

| caroltuttle | My book is the other half of RET, the life skills part |
| ladyhawk | do you cleanse the room before each treatment to rid the negative energies left? |
| caroltuttle | I refer to RET and many clients case histories in the book. |
| nirtanna | Does openness/belief systems seem to make a difference in how well this works ? |
| caroltuttle | the other half of RET is to teach the client new life skills based on universal principles. Whatever you believe at the cognitive level is not important because we are working with your cellular level which holds truth. You can come in believing it won't work and it still will. Our left brain, analytical mind is not the most powerful part of us. |
| caroltuttle | I prefer to work with people who come in choosing to let it work. I tell people it will take you farther than you can even believe so believe big |

| caroltuttle | most people only see me 8-12 times with dramatic life changing effects. My book teaches us how to maintain the higher vibrational state and start creating what we want in that state. |

| lila | Can you describe some of the life changes people have had? without names of course |

| caroltuttle | I am in Utah. I do phone sessions because energy is non-local |
| caroltuttle | 1 hour 20 minutes |
| nightowl | Sorry for commenting on that remark about the left brain not being the most powerful part of us. I believe both ours minds are equally strong. Only we have learned to develop the left brain. |

| lila | you wouldn't utilize the wand for phone sessions would you then? |
| caroltuttle | Life changes: Everything from extreme multipersonality or DID, depression, really anything you can think of I have probably seen and they have all gotten well |
| caroltuttle | Yes I do use the wand, I talk the client through the eye-blinking process more, it is just distant energy healing. Our energies are not contained by any limitations. If they were all our modern technologies would not be here |
| nirtanna | abused children could be cleared of the experience ? |
| jusme | I have had distance healing by a reiki master and it does work, therefore I understand how yours would work |
| caroltuttle | The reason we all can chat like this from all over is because the energy that supports this is free form |

| caroltuttle | In my opinion this is the best resource available to clear the residual effects of abuse, I know from personal experience. My first book is on Healing from sexual and spiritual abuse and that is what got me in to all this over 13 years ago |
| caroltuttle | You cannot get a wand with out the training and the training is $2500. I would not attempt any of this without the training |

| Rainbow7 | How long is the training? Do you do the training? And do you have regular classes? |
| caroltuttle | the training is a home study program the reason is so people from all over the world can get trained more easily. You need about 3 months to do the home study portion. After that you can elect to go to Salem OR for a 5 day completion, certification process or send in videotaped evidence to pass off all your skills |

| caroltuttle | Just so you know I am not involved in training people and I make no money if people get trained. I believe very much in the power of this tool and am eager to let others know about it. |
| lila | okay... but that fee is to become a trained therapist... not to have a healing session, just to clarify |
| whorsew | so an aspect of this is the power of energy healing, maybe you could go a bit into that |
| caroltuttle | RET sessions run anywhere from $80-$150 a session which is 1 hour 30minutes |
