Part I - Book Review

Author: Carol Tuttle
ISBN:0595099017

Publisher : Writers Club Press (
iUniverse.com Inc.)

Carol Tuttle did a very "knowing" thing when she decided to have an image of herself placed on the cover of her book. I believe she must have realized the importance of eye-to-eye recognition. Peering into a person's eyes (windows of our souls) can spark a remembrance or may awaken a feeling of familiarity within us. This same feeling can also surface when viewing a photo. Having her photo so prominently displayed gives her readers at first glance a chance to have a soul-remembering. If her photo does that for you then be assured she will have something special to share with you within the text. I have purchased books in the past that didn't particularly appeal to me outside of the attraction I felt when I looked upon a thumbsized author photo on the back cover. Knowing what book is for you to read can be as simple as a viewing a photograph.

This book consists of fifty mini chapters. The crispness and shortness of the chapters appeal to my desire of getting to the core of the subject. Tuttle is very good at writing her ideas and teachings out in plain language without adding confusing or unnecessary verbiage. The writing style is clear and concise, I could feel the strength and convictions of her beliefs. Tuttle spoke of concepts about living our lives as humans that I am in agreement with but she also touched on subjects that I couldn't relate to. Still, I found Remembering Wholeness: A Personal Handbook for Thriving in the 21st Century to be an inspiring read, a book from which much truth will be gleaned by many. I personally believe that each of us carries within us a piece of the truth and that no one in human form has access to the whole truth (not yet anyway). Each person we meet will share their truth with us and it is our choice to accept their truth as our own or to reject it. Tuttle's handbook solidified some of my own truths and it also gave me additional maybe-truths to explore.

"As each of us awakens our Christ-consciousness, we will draw that same energy out of others in all our interactions with them."

I was especially touched by Chapter 9 entitled "Birth Leaves an Imprint That Starts Life As a Struggle." Returning to our point of entry and recognizing the emotion and pain of becoming a physical being is a place I have explored in the past. I have experienced healing through recall of my physical birth experience. Tuttle explains how the energy patterns of our birth experiences, generational beliefs, and unmet childhood needs influence our adult lives.

Prebirth Sacred Agreements, Scripting, Creating Abundance, and Life Purpose are just a few of the many subjects covered that are worth exploring. Tuttle continues along the theme of taking steps toward moving stuck energy and taking control of your life. She offers herself as a guide to help readers find their pathway to having happier and more purposeful lives.

" Tell the Universe the way you want it to be! Even if you have to stretch it a little bit. The Universe doesn't know the difference."
