| I Remember Who I Was | |
I Was a young boy in
World War I
Memory: While reading unrelated subject matter, I suddenly visualized myself as a young boy in WW1. I was a British draftee who had no desire to fight. My leg was badly wounded. Someone had put on a tourniquet of ripped greenish cloth, but it wasn't helping. I was bleeding out, terrified, and enraged. I was only nineteen, and hadn't even had my fair chance to live before here I was, dying in some bloody war I hadn't started! I thought, "I'm going to come back, and next time I'll bloody well be a girl, so I won't have to go through this again." I did come back as a girl in Germany, just in time for WW2. Ironic, no? But that's another past life memory.
