I was a family man in the Midwest of the US in the 1800s
Memory: I was a man & the period had to be around the late 1800's. I was somewhere around Western Kansas or maybe farther west. I was watching my wife outside our cabin doing the wash. I saw a couple of horses from the rear standing in their stalls. My wife had on a long cream colored dress and blonde hair. The area was flat land and sandy with some small hills. I seen my little boy who looked to be around 5 or 6 yrs. old running across the hills playing. He was wearing overalls & one of those flat round hats.. don't know exactly what they're called. I saw him fall and twist his ankle so I ran and picked him up. Then it was late evening and the sun was setting... we used the outhouse, then put out the torches and went into the cabin.
I live near the
east coast in this life and I've never been farther than southeast Missouri!
