My family was slaughtered

As far as I can tell this event happened a long time ago. I think it took place in Scotland or somewhere else in the medieval ages, I am a boy who is raised by a loving family in the country side. I watch and live through the boys happy life until a sad event happens to him, his family is slaughtered by a man (perhaps a fallen knight I'm not sure). The man turns to the boy and plunges his blade in to his side then leaves, the boy lives. Many years later when he has his own family and has found some peace he is happy. Then, while he and his family are enjoying lunch on a nearby hillside they are suddenly attacked by a man. As I look up to see his face I realize it is the same man who took my parents away from me and now has killed my family once again, as I lunge at him with nothing but hate in my heart I feel a tremendous pain in my chest. I look only to see a blood rushing out of an injury. My sight goes blurry and I fall to the ground with only this mans gaze burning into me. Because of these events I see I think it is why I can't get close to anyone and may be the reason my life has been so difficult to bear.
