I may have met the girl from my dream, well, her soul anew
Memory: I used to believe that death was an end. You live and you die. Now things are different. I have had a couple of recurring dreams, vague, but very real.
The first one: I come into the dream behind myself. I am walking down a path, a road, or some sort of trail. It seems to be more of a dirt path. It is quiet, and the path is lined on both sides with trees. The trees are tall and the branches sort of intertwine over the path to form a tunnel.....sort of. I notice that I am walking, wearing a knee length dark grey coat. I can only see myself from the back so I can not say for sure but it seems as tho the coat is of the victorian era. Thats when I feel as though I am really there. I am that person, walking slowly down this path, I feel lonely. I notice that I am alone. I get a good look of my surroundings for only a short moment, then I end up waking up. It seems strange, but I really feel as though I have been in that place many of times.
The other dream I have had, I am not alone. I am with a beautiful girl, and we are again walking. This time, it is down a cobblestone path. A sidewalk I think. We are holding hands and strolling very happily down the path. We come to an old oil burning street lamp.....the kind that are freestanding on a post. We turn to the right and walk down a short flight of stone steps. As we begin to walk down these steps I turn and look her in the eyes. I can now see that it is at dusk...or just before sunset. The sun is setting right behind her and the the last remaining rays of the suns light shine in her raven black hair making it shine an orangey red. Her eyes are a light blue green in color and she is so beautiful, and when I look at her I feel an everlasting happiness. At that moment, I stumble. I woke up with a sudden jolt in my bed as though I had a real fall. When I woke up, I had a few seconds of "where am I ?" and then realized I was in my bed staring at the ceiling. I instantly felt a sadness, a loss. I truly believe that these are memories from a past life of mine! .
The even crazier thing is, I believe that I may have met the girl from that dream, well, her soul anew. My girl who lives a hundred or so miles from me, who found me over the Internet can describe parts of my dreams without me telling her, and I can describe parts of hers. It's hard to believe, but true! It is a truly comforting feeling, to know that I may have at last found that someone, the one I have spent a lifetime with previously, only to find her again, and continue it all over.
