I was the lady of the manor (castle)
Memory: I recently underwent past life regression therapy to gain insight into my current relationship with my husband. The time period seems to be in the Middle Ages. Somewhere in Europe. The climate was pleasant, mostly sunny days. I lived in a castle near the ocean. The memory began with me as a young woman about 25 years old. I was the "lady of the manor" so to speak. I did not have any family or peers in this castle. Mainly I was surrounded by servants or peasants. And I was only vaguely aware of these people in the background. At one point, I am sitting in a type of throne room awaiting a visitor. The person who is coming to see me is one of my knights but also my lover. No one knows of this relationship but the two of us. I become aware that something terrible is going to happen to him. I next find myself alone in a church, filled with grief at his apparent death. I eventually leave the church with a sense of hopelessness and resignation. Next "memory"! of this life jumps to about 10 years into the future. I am making my way through the castle courtyard/market place and am intercepted by a crowd of petitioners all demanding something of me. I move past them, not wanting to deal with their issues at the present time. I walk through the castle gate toward my page who is holding a white horse for me. We are going to go for a ride out into the countryside. It is late afternoon, approaching dusk and I ride my horse to the top of a hill. I dismount and stand, alone, at the top of the hill looking out over the landscape. The sunset is a vivid orange with dark purple/blue clouds. I am still alone in this life and filled with intense grief over the death of my lover many years earlier. At this time, I have the overwhelming and desparate wish to simply leave this earth. I end my life by slitting my own throat from ear to ear. As the blood is running down my neck, I leave my body through the top of my head and ascend toward the sky. This past life recall was extremely emotional - intense feelings of love, passion, and overwhelming grief and sadness.
