Article: Stevia, Natural Sugar Substitute
Feb. 20, 1998
I have grown stevia in my garden for the last two years in zone # 6 SW
Ontario, Canada with great success ( a local green house sells them for $2
per plant ). In the fall I hang my plants to dry and then we bag them up. It
usually takes about 7 large leaves immersed in a tea bob to sweeten tea or
coffee to my liking. I have also tried the drops and found I needed about 6
or 7, 2 would never satisfy me. Just wanted to share my views with you,
take care.
