Guide Review - Miracle Pain Relief - The Gentle Power of Bowen

The filming location of this instructional video tape is beautiful Maui, Hawaii. Gerri Shapiro, MS, Ed, health eductator and Bowen practitioner, gives viewers a brief explanation of the history and purpose of the Bowen Technique. Ten basic steps for adults to use in treating friends or family members are demonstrated. The Bowen process involves gentle manipulation of fingers and thumb to relax the body and release any energy blocks that are causing pain and discomfort. Although I was disappointed more information wasn't shared on the fundamentals of this healing modality, I appreciated the easy-to-understand instructions and demonstration of muscle movements.
