Chocolate is the sweet choice of many who are trying to limit their carbs. There are snacks available to satisfy those chocolate cravings.
  • Cold and Creamy - Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom Fudge Lites (made with Splenda)
  • Warm Brew - Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa Mix - No Sugar Added with Calcium (made with Splenda)
  • Chewey - Junior-size Snickers Candy Bar (the peanuts offset the calories since they are a good protein choice). Limit yourself to one... or you can have two if you're on your way to the gym for a work-out.
  • Cool Beverage - Low fat or skim chocolate milk is a great choice to offset cravings for a milk chocolate candy bar that contains more calories. You'll also benefit from the bone-building calcium and others vitamins drinking milk offers. I like it best when mixed with half skim white milk. But if you like the stronger, darker chocolate flavor... go for it.
