It is best to eat throughout the day whenever you are hungry. Don't deny your body the food it needs to function. The trick is to have smaller meals with 2 or 3 snacks throughout the day. It's surprising how an apple, a chunk of cheese, or handful of peanuts will energize you and give you the boost you need to tend to your daily tasks. I always keep a healthy snack in my purse so I'm not tempted to pull up to a fast food restaurant or grab a candy bar at the gas station to curb a craving. When you deprive your body of nourishment for too many hours when meal time finally comes around you'll overeat. That's not a good idea.
