Healing The Earth/Ourselves
Healer's Purpose/Goal:
The world today is changing in ways no individual can grasp, as new and ancient technologies meet. Our times demand we be citizens of the Earth, healing the Earth/Ourselves. We were born to be here now. It is our souls' purpose to see past delusion and diversion and live truly, honestly, with love and compassion, without pain. The path toward healing, toward making our dreams realities, is within each of us. We must only awaken to the light. It is my purpose to aid in this evolution.

Additional comments from Jim:
As a lifelong student of shamanism, I was drawn to Reiki rather late in life, but it fulfills me and offers insights and healing abilities that have been miraculous. Having studied it extensively, I think it a wonderful "coincidence" that the Kanji name of Reiki that is on Dr. Usui's grave literally translates: "Shaman Who Makes Rain." If you look at the symbol (which I have drawn on my website), you will see the elements of the symbol are Ki (as mist) at the bottom, the shaman in the middle (three "Ts") and the "rain" (Rei) at the top, with the (3) people's mouths wide with wonder as the blessings fall upon them. I believe Dr. Usui was a great shaman, but his times did not allow this knowledge to be known as such.
I am grateful to the Creator, guides and angels to be able to have been drawn to share in this learning. Mitakuye Oyasin!
