How many hours have you wasted trying to locate a specific reference in a book, but you can no longer remember which book? Or how about the frantic search you made leafing through twenty-odd catalogs hoping to find that duck letter opener you remember seeing a few weeks back your wanted to order for your Dad for Father's Day? There is a remedy to zap these time-wasters. Sticky Notes! Keep a pad of small stickies to write on and adhere to the pages worth remembering. Write out a word phrase, such as "Duck letter opener" or "How-to Fix a Leaky Faucet" on the bottom inch of the sticky for future reference. Place the sticky upside down on the page your want noted with the written portion protruding out the top of the magazine or book for fast and easy referencing items and articles. You can even color-code the types of notes. For example: pink for gift items, yellow for household hints, blue for recipes, green for financial tips, etc.
