Guide Review - Living Yoga - Creating a Life Practice
I sense that the layout (choice of colors, photograpy, and white space breaking up the various sections) was carefully thought out to give the reader a feeling of overall calmness and inspiration. At least this is how I felt while turning the pages before reading the actual text. The writing style also has an easy flow. Eastern yoga terminology is described so as not to overwhelm the beginner. I dislike healing books that tend to overwhelm the novice with too much in depth jargan. An overload of information tends to scare people away from practices that could ultimately benefit them. Christy Turlington's Yoga with Living does not overwhelm, but rather inspires the reader to explore further.
