Carnival of Healing #47: Adventures, Avocados, and More
Saturday July 15, 2006
Welcome to the 47th edition of the Carnival of Healing. Our carnival is a weekly (bi-weekly through the summer) round-up of blogs across the Internet featuring information about healing, self empowerment, and spirituality. As always, there is a variety of carnival attractions to choose from. Feel free to visit as many (or all) that you like. Something is sure to interest you.
From the Political Podium: Starling, The Business of America is Business, posts The Health of Nations regarding Massachussets Governor, Mitt Romney's proposed healthcare plan for universal coverage.
Christine Kane suggests switching your routine once or twice a month by stepping out of your comfort zone and having what she calls an Adventure Day. The main objective is to have a little fun. A recent "Adventure Day" for my husband and me was picking blueberries at a nearby blueberry farm. We may attend a sweet corn festival in August.
Brandon Peele, Genrative Transformation, posts about his recent liver and digestive system cleanses in Cleansing Does a Body Good. I guess the cleansing period wasn't too trying, Brandon was able to get away from the toilet long enough to go to the movies. Read his review of The Way of the Peaceful Warrior - he gives it a WOWWOW (double Wow) rating.
Paula Gregorowicz, Coaching4Lesbians, blogs about her participation in the 34th annual American Cancer Society Bike-a-Thon in her post Pedaling for a Cancer Cure; Lessons Along the Route sharing her insights as she traveled the 63 mile route. She includes a few photos, so don't miss this carnival attraction!
Intuitive Innovations, posts Intuition Whispers - Are You Listening?
Laurie, Natural Remedies, who btw doesn't even like avocados, shares the health benefits of avocados to please her readers. I, on the otherhand, love eating avocados. She mentions a recipe using mashed vocados for a hair treatment. Hmmm... what a waste of a yummy food.
Do you have any bad habits you would like to break? Jake Myers, In Ruin, shares his four steps to breaking a habit in 30 days or less. I think Jake is an idealist! Perhaps Jake can help out Jim Jones, Run Fat Boy, who is dealing with his addiction to nasal sprays, Nosespray; Heroin for the common man.
Thanks for attending our carnival this Saturday! Hope you enjoyed it!
Our previous carnival was hosted at Natural Remedies, in two weeks the Carnival of Healing will once again visit Intuitive Innovations.
Attention Bloggers: We are interested in your healing blog posts for future carnival attractions. Affirmation of the Day
